Bingcan Guo
master's student @ UW (she/her)
I am a second-year master's student in the Department of Human Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington. My research focuses on human-AI interaction, privacy, LLM agents, and creativity support tools.
I am currently working as a research intern at Northeastern University PEACH Lab where I am deeply grateful to be supervised by professor Tianshi Li. I also had the privilege of being supervised by professor Amy X. Zhang at the UW Social Futures Lab. During my undergraduate, I was very fortunate to be supervised by professor Xiaojuan Ma at the HKUST HCI Initiative.
Prior to UW, I received a double-major BSc. in Data Science and Technology, and Computer Science (first-class honours), with a minor in Mathematics from HKUST, supported by Kerry Holdings Limited Scholarship (full admission scholarship). I was a senior student ambassador and School of Science peer mentor, and received Professor Edmond Ko Scholarships for Student Mentoring 2023-2024.
